Female therapist admits to sex with patient

(Camden - AP, October 5, 2006) - A female therapist for troubled youth has admitted having sex with a male teenage patient in Camden County.

Nadelis Perez faces up to five years in prison when she's sentenced.

In pleading guilty to sexual assault, the 21-year-old said she had sex multiple times with the then-15-year-old in 2004.

Perez was a therapist at the Therapeutic Live-in Care program. The offenses took place at Perez's former home in Camden after the teen left the facility to live with a relative.

The victim reported the incident to a new therapist last spring.

Perez was no longer working as a therapist when she was arrested this year.
